Just returned from a week with all the family on the island Fanø west of Denmark. A lovely summerhouse where we went to celebrate my mother turning 60. We had a great time there swimming, sight-seeing and relaxing.

We are looking forward to next year :-)

My parents have been married for 40 years today. We send the best wishes for the comming years. It is hard to imagine 40 years. That is more years that all of my life. Congratiolations from Hvidovre to both!

Yesterday at 13:13 Vicky and Søren got a daughter. That is the 3rd daughter from the 3 sons (me and my brothers). A big girl almost 4 kg and 54 cm. We have not seen fotos yet but will keep you posted.

Taking the weddings in reverse order since time to update the page lately have been tight.

We went to 4 weddings the last 2 months and the last one was on the 23rd of September 2006 in Hobro! The invitation was a bit weird since it didn't say specifically that it was a wedding so everyone was confused. It did say that everyone should dress according to the weather no matter what weather we got.

Showing up in the garden of Vicki and Søren at the invitation date and time they showed up in jeans and T-shirt. It still didn't seem anything like a wedding. We were asked to walk with them and we walked across town to the habour where a nice, large ship was entering (Bessie Ellen). We were invited onboard in our festive clothes and with the hosts in their casual clothes.

It was not until Vicki and Søren finally dissapeared for a while and showed up in a white wedding dress (Vicki that is!) and a smoking that everybody was certain about what was going to happen. They got married on the ship on a great, sunny day in the middle of Mariager Fjord.

Afterwards we went back to the shipyard and the party took place on the boat!

A great wedding, a very different style than the other weddings we went to, a great atmosphere and a focus on everybody having a good time.

Time flies.. Now I entered my last week here at home with Andrea. It is a wonderfull experience to be able to stay at home taking care of her and I hope that many fathers will do that. But take more than just 4 weeks!

Andrea, Sandra and I went to play with all Andreas friends today. The mothers group is a great thing where you can discuss everything and get inputs and feedback from other people with kids. A nice break in the days that are much alike.

Still didn't have time to put up new fotos. They are all ligned up and ready but they will come! Thinking about it I didn't take any fotos either. Allthough we went to the library again and took home a lot of books about digital photography.

Tomorrow we are going to visit Andreas friends in the mothers-group.

Continuing with all the things that needs to be done in a house just to live here. It is not small tasks but we have plenty time to play around aswell. In the morning we went to see the baby nurse who have open-house every tuesday for questions and to weight and measure if you want to.

Andrea is now 9 kg and 400 g. with clothes. She is following the growth curve really nice.

After that we went to the library to take home some baby books and she loves them. Some folding books with pictures of things and animals and also a book with "Bamse og Kylling".

Today was the first day at home with Andrea on my paternity leave. A lovely day with house'ly chores and we enjoyed a lot. Andres choose to sleep long naps both in the morning and in the afternoon so I got a light start. We went shopping in Ishøj in the afternoon after making order in the house in the morning. Sandra was most of the day on the 2nd floor looking for jobs on the Internet and fulfilling all the rules (forms and registraions) of the danish unemployment system.

Today Andreas uncle, Sandras brother, turnes 30. We wish him a great day and celebration from the three of us.

After many problems Andres finally arrived here in Hvidovre. His plane came in late and he had to stay in Madrid for an extra day.

But now he is here and we are going to have a tight schedule here in December. Frist 60th birthday of Gunnar, then a trip to Oslo (it is a surprice so don't mention it to him!), then back to Hobro for X-mas and the 25th with Kanna and her sisters and their family for a large X-mas dinner.

Then New Years in the middle of nowhere hosted as always by Karina & Thomas. One of the first things in the new year will be the babtism of Andrea here in Hvidovre so lots of stuff to do.

This weekend I had my debut as toastmaster at Signe and (my cousin) Torbens wedding. It was held in northern Jutland with around 80 persons.
I think that it went pretty well - at least we kept the time schedule and the happy couple danced the waltz at 23:55!
We partied on until 3 in the morning where we went to bed.

It was sad to say goodbye to Socorro and Luis Fernando after more than 3 lovely weeks.

They are now off to 3 hectic days in Paris with Sandra before going back to Bogota after almost 4 weeks in Europe.

This week I will try to get the last 400 fotos sorted out and published online. Take a look at the albums allready there.

Hamlets Castle, well Kronborg Castle more precise was yesterdays venue. Saw both the inside, the dungeons, and the outside areas.

Afterwards we walked around the center of Helsingør, had a beer, and went home on the train.

With the in-laws we are now seeing all the important sites of Copenhagen and the areas around.

The city center, the castles, the parlament, churches, museums, Tivoli, Christiania, doing a bit of shopping etc.

This will continue for some more days and after the weekend we will take off to Jutland (Jylland) to see the sites of mid- and northern Jutland with Kanna & Gunnar.
